2 Corinthians 5:17

Forgiveness is not simply about having a clean record; it is about becoming a new creation. In Christ, our identity is no longer anchored to our former behavior. God does not merely erase our mistakes—He begins rebuilding our understanding of who we are.

This is why forgiveness and transformation belong together. Grace does not give us permission to remain unchanged. It gives us the freedom to become who God has called us to be without constantly being chained to who we were.

May today’s declaration remind you that you are not required to remain the person your past created. May you embrace the newness Christ has made possible and walk forward with renewed identity and purpose.
