1 Peter 4:10 “God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”God never gives a gift without also giving it a purpose. In 1 Peter 4:10, Peter reminds us that every believer has received gifts through God’s grace to be faithfully stewarded for the benefit of others. God’s calling is always accompanied by His power. In Ephesians 3:7, Paul describes his ministry as a gift of God’s grace, made effective through God’s power rather than his own abilities. God doesn’t simply call us into His purpose; He faithfully empowers us to fulfill it.

Grace is never idle. In 1 Corinthians 15:10, Paul acknowledges that everything he became and accomplished was the result of God’s grace working in and through him. His labor was real, but it was God’s grace that strengthened every effort and sustained every step.

Sometimes we assume pursuing God’s purpose depends entirely on our own determination. God’s call on your life began long before your first act of obedience. In 2 Timothy 1:9, Paul reminds us that God “saved us and called us to a holy life… because of His own purpose and grace.” Our purpose is not something we achieve through talent, effort, or personal ambition. It is a gracious invitation from God, who lovingly calls us according to His eternal plan and equips us to walk in it.
