“Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, ‘ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”2 Corinthians 12:8-9

God’s grace is sufficient because we’re not capable but we have access to heavenly resources to aid us in our fight to overcome the areas of our life that are weak.

Have you found yourself attempting to be "good" to no avail? I've had this struggle, I remember thinking I could keep myself from doing all the things that we today consider sin. Holiness then being the opposite of that as reality has to be the end result of putting on "grace" as a lifestyle. Most people don't employ the gift of grace don't truly understand that it is a gift given by God to empower you to live out his death burial and resurrection. We are not condemned because of grace, we are liberated by it. When you adopt the truth of God's word as a lifestyle and grant ourselves permission to walk out salvation with the full knowledge that we can actually accomplish it. 22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns methat prison and hardships are facing me. 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
