Acts 12: 1-18
Acts 12 New International Version (NIV)
12Â It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. 2Â He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. 3Â When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. 4Â After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.
5Â So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
6 The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. 7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.
8 Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. 9 Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. 10 They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.
11 Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.”
12 When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying. 13 Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer the door. 14 When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, “Peter is at the door!”
15 “You’re out of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, “It must be his angel.”
16 But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. 17 Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. “Tell James and the other brothers and sisters about this,” he said, and then he left for another place.
18Â In the morning, there was no small commotion among the soldiers as to what had become of Peter. 19Â After Herod had a thorough search made for him and did not find him, he cross-examined the guards and ordered that they be executed.

1 Corinthians 3:6 New International Version (NIV)
6Â I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.Â
Genesis 1:11-12 New International Version (NIV)
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
Â
Matthew 28:18-20
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

22Â But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23Â gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Â Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25Â Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Â Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Join us as Tania not Tanya shares with us the story of Nate and Jack and shows us how the Bible defines strength.
James 2:20,26 Good News Translation (GNT)
20Â You fool! Do you want to be shown that faith without actions is useless?[a]
26Â So then, as the body without the spirit is dead, also faith without actions is dead.Â
Mark 14:38 New International Version (NIV)
38 Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Romans 6:19 Good News Translation (GNT)
19Â (I use everyday language because of the weakness of your natural selves.) At one time you surrendered yourselves entirely as slaves to impurity and wickedness for wicked purposes. In the same way you must now surrender yourselves entirely as slaves of righteousness for holy purposes.
Romans 15 Good News Translation (GNT)
15Â We who are strong in the faith ought to help the weak to carry their burdens. We should not please ourselves.
2 Corinthians 12:8-10 Good News Translation (GNT)
8 Three times I prayed to the Lord about this and asked him to take it away. 9 But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me. 10 I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
1 Corinthians 1:27 The Passion Translation (TPT)
27Â But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame[a] the high and mighty.
Proverbs 3:6 King James Version (KJV)
6Â In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Mark 13:11 Good News Translation (GNT)
11Â And when you are arrested and taken to court, do not worry ahead of time about what you are going to say; when the time comes, say whatever is then given to you. For the words you speak will not be yours; they will come from the Holy Spirit.
Zechariah 4:6 Good News Translation (GNT)
6 The angel told me to give Zerubbabel this message from the Lord: “You will succeed, not by military might or by your own strength, but by my spirit.
